We had a lovely short stay at Water Edge Boathouse. It’s in a very peaceful location & being able to sit on the decking & look out across the estuary was great. The ships steps to the bedroom were very steep so worth bearing in mind for anyone with avedi di più
We had a lovely short stay at Water Edge Boathouse. It’s in a very peaceful location & being able to sit on the decking & look out across the estuary was great. The ships steps to the bedroom were very steep so worth bearing in mind for anyone with accessibility issues (or needing loo trips in the night!). However the bed was very comfy once up there. We did have one gripe in that the WiFi did not work for our entire stay. The owner was charming and apologetic but unable to remedy it during the time we were there.

The property is beautifully situated, well appointed and very comfortable and we loved the magical sights of the sun in the creek in the morning and the reflection of the moon in the water at night (although I can’t guarantee the weather!). Our host, Danielle was very welcoming, helpful and charming. It’s definitely not a case of “If” just “when” we get back for another trip!
