Swallows End was a lovely little apartment nestled away. We found the location perfection to travel to Torquay, Teignmouth and Dawlish very easily. For the height of summer and premium prices that were paid we were disappointed with our stay. The apartment was very dusty with spiders all over, the kitchen tap constantly leaked and was generally not the spotless clean you would have expected. The pool and sauna were lovely but owners dogs barked a lot making the relax by the pool not so much relaxing. The hot tub is lovely but is lengthy to fill up and a full time job to keep it warm. We overall enjoyed our stay but felt it wasn’t as amazing as advertised and for what we paid.

Lovely place to stay for a few days break, hot tub is great once you get the hang of lighting and feeding the fire. They could do with having a step up to the platform where the hot tub is located, we had to use one of the chairs as a step!

The only criticism is that there was a bin full of rubbish outside the entrance, presumably from a previous tenant. |
